The great paradox of parenting is that it moves in both slow motion and fast speed.

Gretchin Rubin

I'm the mother of four wonderful children

Based in the beautiful Tasman

I'm 45 years old (ummm where did my 20s and 30s go?!), have been married for almost 20 of those, and - after time as a teacher - am now a full-time homeschooling mum. I was born in Dunedin, but have written life chapters in Melbourne, a caravan adventure around New Zealand, and now in the Nelson/Tasman area.

I've always found a deep fascination in capturing my children's growth: their little quirks, their evolving personalities. It's this joy that led to a passion for portrait photography.

Trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second.

Sometimes I look at my 18 year old son, and think...shouldn't you still be a tiny baby in my arms? As that sense of fleeting time built over the years, I picked up my camera more. My child on this day, in this moment right now, may not feel special in the rush of life. But I *always* look back on what I've captured with a rush of nostalgia, and joy, and thankfulness.

I would love to help you do the same.

this time with your kids is so important

Our kids grow up so fast. Let's capture who they are right now.

My photography style is raw, real, and natural. Portrait sessions with me are more than just a photo shoot - they are carefully styled and thoughtfully executed to capture the essence of your child’s individuality.
